(ANOTHER) DIY Pollinator Workshop 4/16 from 4-5:45

  • One Nature 3 Old Glenham Road Beacon, NY, 12508 United States (map)

ALL PROCEEDS GO TO NATIVE PLANT DONATIONS TO LOCAL SCHOOLS.

Do you want to start a pollinator garden but don’t know where to start? Did you start one already and now have trouble knowing how to care for it? Don’t be too hard on yourself. Learning plants is like learning a new language. Let us help you better understand the language of pollinator plants! Our team has created hundreds of pollinator gardens in our region. In response to huge interest, we are offering a new class this spring on March 26 to teach our approach on starting and caring for pollinator gardens from herbaceous plugs. Developed over the past two decades, we will present our process to you and leave room for an extended period of question and answer.

Address: 178 Main St, Beacon NY. Enter from parking lot behind building

Date and Time: from 4pm-5:45pm on Tuesday March 26th.

Space for this workshop is very limited, as it will take place in our studio space (178 Main, Beacon NY). Sign up soon! If we get enough interest we will make a second class available the following week.

Topics covered will include include:

-site assessment (sun patterns, soil, water, slope)

-invasive species (like mugwort, knot weed, etc)

-aesthetic guidance to encourage multi-season interest
